JORDAN FIRST OR CHECHNYA!?

Is it true that one should put his own country's interest above everything else... even if we are part of a larger nation... Does our sense of belonging to Jordan mean that we are no longer a part of this nation or are these things completely different...

What if there is a conflict of interest between Jordan and Afghanistan, should we go for the gold even if it hurts Chechnya for example...

Should we build Jordan even if the blocks are from the ruins of fellow nations... Should our building rise high even if it blocks breeze from our neighbours...

How do you measure right and wrong? What is your criteria?

In life there is two things:
1- reality.
2- Dreams.

You have to deal with reality and keep your dreams in your mind until you can realize those dreams..

Look at jordan as a human being who is in a battle, Mr.Jordan is weak and the opponent is 1000 times stronger so what does Mr.jordan do? fight and get killed or train and become stronger?

So yes jordan is first until we can become independent strong state, after that we can be more powerful and more capable of making changes.

I think thats why we are not part of the larger nation,we consider ourselves real patriots who love jordan and we are gravely concerned about economic and political survival but do not care about any one who is not jordanian cuz jordan first,i am certain that some people would not like what this note has addressed.

It is the most racist slogan a country or any country can adapt ,its like saying ,we are better than you and the hell with you Arabs ,its the old orientalist cliche that some of our lost people adapted and picked from European and the west,it is intended to distance the Arab Jordanians from their brothers and sisters Just look at Germany and Italy in the 1930s and 40s,when Hitler and Mussolini raised those racist and stupid slogan"Germany First or Italy First"just look what happened to them ,they were thrown in the history dust pen.
Are we stupid enough to adapt an ideology that has caused wars,miseries and destruction for some opportunist Sultans and kings that only care about their survival
We Jordanian reject this racist ideology and policies that only intention is to drive a wedge between our brothers in Palestine ,Syria,lebonon ,Iraq and the Arab world at large.
Our strength is in Unity and brotherhood ,its the only way can Jordan live and be prosperous and independent from the West and their handouts.

When did Jordan become a country?

What makes a country? better yet what is the definition of a country? It is not meant to make Jordan any less of a nation or a culture when you say that Jordan as a country didn't exist 100 hundred years ago. There is a big difference between an inhibited land and a country. "A country" adds the dimension of political identity, of a nation that moves with its self appointed leadership towards it's own agenda. Before the so called "independence" of Arab countries, we were part of a larger nation and a larger political cluster. It was not ONLY Jordan... Almost every other Arab country did not exist as an individual political structure as it does today. And we were sold the concept of "A COUNTRY" as if it is the greatest achievement of our modern times. Our greatest disappointment was sold as our greatest achievement!! The unity of the Arab nations was broken down with lines of ink held sacred on fresh glossy maps with 21 proud new flags!!
