Staring at the ladies?! check the pic...

This is very shameful, but it's true... Young men start staring at a very early age and keep this up to a very old age!! ya3ni the old age guys get on my nerve the most but that's not (مربط الفرس) "the point"... I was actually thinking of translating it to (where we tie horses) :)... Anywa...

What's wrong with people here, what's wrong with the ladies! Would somebody please tell me what they gain from this... and don't tell me its human nature... cause it's human nature is in everything we do in our life but it's up to us to work for the money instead of stealing it... if the women are revealing too much, yes they are wrong... But it's no excuse... its like stealing just because it was easy and too tempting...

It's addictive and it's contagious... just look at a bunch of guys when a woman passes by, ZOOM no one talks... as soon as one starts checking, everyone else in the gang starts a learning experience... what some fail to see is that it also degrades the person doing it to the extreme... At least try to control yourself in public or if people are looking at you...

Back to square one, what do you gain? you just torture yourself and you open up hell to your desires... not to mention degrading yourself... and most importantly, you are doing something haram (forbidden in Islam), I know many people will say oooh its back to haram again everything we enjoy is haram... but it is النظرة سهم مسموم and غض البصر (not looking).. It's not easy and I'm not saying I'm an angel but the scale people are doing this is unbelievable and the extent they are doing it is unbearable... Front view, back view, side view, top view... total scanning of every inch and some inches more than the rest...

What is happening to the ladies, they also stare... they somehow loose focus but for a different reason (I hope)... it's a young woman as well just passing by... but the whole group is checking her out from head to toe... It's usually about the way she's dressed... at least it's not that degrading...

If you're upset about not having the pic you want on this post... you're exactly the target audience... :) don't hate me...

A quick look out of curiousity I understand, I do not approve of it, but I might let it pass, but staring!! Not only is it degrading for those who are doing the staring but it is also degrading for the person who's being stared at.

I loved how you compared stealing because it is easy to staring because she's revealing a lot, a lot of people use that as an excuse to stare.

Girls staring at other girls is a new phenomenon that has spread in Jordan especially in universaties, girls stare more than guys do, wil moda sayreh il banat y3al2ou, 3ala banat! W the problem is that any self-respecting person is forced to let it pass because those who are not ashamed to STARE surely won't be ashamed to yirda7ou! Ugh!

As usual, my comment is longer than the original post! :)

As a girl myself , I have to say this. I really enjoy long hikes especially with the nice weather these days , and the ones available -for me at least- wud be like walking from our house to sweifeih for example. Anyhow , now how do i dress? I am a muhajaba , I wear a "3abaya" and sneakers and just put sunglasses on along with headphones and I'm ready to go. The first day i really enjoyed it , I really didnt care how ppl looked at me , the second day i was like "okkk..i guess im gona change where i walk"..bs on the third day..ughhhh , enu mshaaaaaaan allah , bdi a3raf amshi , ya3ni msh ma32ool..kul 7ada bumru2 "shu hal nashat" , "wallahi ana kaman ba7eb el riyada"..o 3ala hal mawwal..
And the girls , Ohhhhhh Myyyyy Godddddddddd ... msh m32oolen , they think that its ok to stare as long as im a girl , bs 3njd , its frustrating , enu ana shu 3meltelek ya #$^@*&! la7atta hek tfasleeeni mn fo2 la ta7t!! I think it's becoming really annoying , more than ever. And the best thing that will happen , is that "5idmet el 3alam" is back , Godddd it's sooo wise and we so need it. Sorry for the long comment bs im really frustrated.

lol citizen, ya3ni even when you're wearing 3abayeh... yea I noticed this as well... no one is off limits...

At a different time, different place maybe things would be better...

& never mind, keep the long comments going... they're great... by the way I don't think 7'edmet el 3alam will help you in this...

Maher,

I disagree, yes the girls are wrong but that doesn't give the right for anyone to stare... ba3dein for God's sake citizen was wearing 3abae and that didn't stop guys and girls from staring and verbal abuse...

As a matter of a fact I'm not justifying el tashlee7 la fel a3ras wala fe el share3 but you cannot justify staring... One wrong act doesn't justify a wrong act in return...

i've always wanted to stop one of those guys who almost break a neck or crash trying to look and ask :
you saw me,NOW WHAT?
‏قال M Kilany
Possible response...

"NOW I can dream...." that would break your heart...

"Now... DHAAAA"

"Now lets focus on the other woman 2 Km away..."

"Now I can sleep, I haven't seen one from morning time, what's happening to this world..."

MK, thanks for posting this. I don't even go walking in Amman anymore because I hate being subjected to the stares, comments and thoughts that one knows are there.

Even with my kids there, disgrace themselves with this behaviour. I even had a 12 year old make an obscene remark, when I was with my own twelve year old.

Jesus said to look at a woman with lust is to have committed adultery. He never said anything about it being a woman's fault, although we are called to modesty as well.

With one look we can appreciate with purity the beauty God created in each gender. A second look is sin.
