Thats why i laugh when i see a new building being covered with glass. It gets dirty just one month after they finish it and it looks so ugly. For god's sake, if you want to look sophisticated and use glass fro facades, think how you are going to clean it!

If you want to torture a man who has great passion for the history of Amman, all you have to do is take him to stroll down Jabal Amman and walk around the School that was built in 1947, the "Islamic Scientific College" It's wall once stood tall all around the buildings that constituted the architectural stamp of a different era. Jordan is still young, a country that is less than a hundred years, so when you talk about buildings that are 60 Years old. The first international football field , is no longer there, instead you will find the new buildings in this picture. Some of the most influential people in this country studied behind those thick walls. Including King Hussein, Ministers, Princes, Politicians, Opposition figures and many more. The school's management seems to have a different architectural opinion!! So they started renovating, demolishing, removing struc...
Every smile leads to you, every poster, every corner... All the lonely drives I take to work and back home... I think of you... and all the pain just rushes back to strain my throat... as if you just left yesterday... Every prayer, when I sit... I just remember how you taught me what to say... I remember how you pushed for a better me... Snowy nights and morning prayers in a distant mosque come flashing back... Every school reminds me how you used to sneak out of line 10 minutes before the bill rings just to pick me up... so I won't wait forever in line... Every apartment that is for sale, every brother I see with another, every gym, every cigarette, every cup of coffee, every PC game... I cannot forget... Every book I see...I see your face... At every car that looks like yours... I almost crumble into tears... Every time I get sick, reminds me of all the long nights you spent with me in a cold distant hospital, every time I get sick I remember how you sacrificed "kids play...
I think I might buy Diesel and fill the tank and when the prices are up. I'll just sell it and get myself two air conditioning units. That is if there is anyone crazy enough to buy diesel from me at that time. Now, seriously... I need a serious advice? what's the best in the market? Are there any other options... etc.
