Defeated or Not!! Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraqis...

To win is to subdue an enemy to your will... It is as simple as that...


Your enemy doesn't win when he kills... When he gets higher returns on income... A victory is only attained by your enemy when you behave exactly as he wants...


When the US/Israel command and we obey we are defeated... It does not matter how much money we get... it is as simple as that...


The US was able to tame the Red Indians and make them adopt a different way of life... Are we heading down the same path...


Palestine was controlled by Crusaders for some time, if people accepted that fact and looked at the economical benefits and taught their kids that money is more important than anything... No one would have sent Armies to free the land...


Defeat is not a matter of guns, economics or manpower... It is a matter of willpower... One Ideology Vs. Another...

The Problem abu kilany is that some people only measure it by Money. If it will benefit me financially then its good, and i don't care if it will cause damage to others, if i will have to ignore all ethics and guidance from Allah to reach it.
Now, people are dealing with the devil for few dollars more.

mkilany, I think the main determining factor to your point of view is that you believe in god.

See, if you believe in God, then all that matters is who is morally right or wrong, because no matter what, God will make it right in the end.

If you don't, then you have to consider not just who is right and wrong, but who is more powerful!

Control the minds of people and you win... Subvert them to your will, crush their identities and all is yours...

Being powerful is only part of the equation to reach victory but it's not the only one... Remember Vietnam, Hizbullah, Iran, Afghanistan...etc Victory is not about who is more powerful but who is able to stick to his beliefs longer... "النصر صبر ساعة"

I see your point, and yess Guerilla warfare won the day in Afghanistan (at least against the Russians) and Vietnam.

Unfortunately it no longer applies in Palestine, because we're not talking about a foriegn power that has to maintain an army in another continent. So both Israelis and Palestinians live in and fight for a land that they consider theirs.

As for Iraq, I think everyone lost there. Iraqis, Americans, even those who didn't fight at all (the rise in oil prices). I hope it gets better eventually. Who knows.

These are the pictures that tell the story of tearing apart a landmark in this country's heritage. If you want to torture a man who has great passion for the history of Amman, all you have to do is take him to stroll down Jabal Amman and walk around the School that was built in 1947, the "Islamic Scientific College" It's wall once stood tall all around the buildings that constituted the architectural stamp of a different era. Jordan is still young, a country that is less than a hundred years, so when you talk about buildings that are 60 Years old. The first international football field , is no longer there, instead you will find the new buildings in this picture. Some of the most influential people in this country studied behind those thick walls. Including King Hussein, Ministers, Princes, Politicians, Opposition figures and many more. The school's management seems to have a different architectural opinion!! So they started renovating, demolishing, removing struc...
