Radio reporter almost cried... Celebrations cause Grief...

The pain was so vividly portrayed, in this reporter's voice... a 4 year old died... The cause: a bullet went straight into her heart... a baby girl lost her life, in her own living room, you can imagine what happened when her parents saw her lying in her blood... Tell me how can you tolerate this kind of celebration...

Two events in the last week caused grief and suffering... Tawjihi celebrations and the Iraqi celebrations over the Football match... , the radio reporter almost cried when he talked about this....

When will this stupid, selfish agonizing criminal activity STOP! When will we see people going to jail for this kind of action... this was after Tawjihi celebrations... huh celebrations!!! criminals shooting their fire arms randomly into the air...

The second thing was the joy some of the "Iraqi-Football team" supporters showed in the streets of Amman, last night... This is not against Iraqis, for those of you who would like to know how I feel read this earlier post this one ... This is against the ignorant people who caused Traffic Jams everywhere?! Speeding cars, blowing horns!! The Gardens road blocked totally near Safeway...

How can anyone be so irresponsible, what if someone had a case of emergency? an urgent business meeting! a family reunion! Even if you are not against celebrating LOUDLY when your brothers are being killed in Iraq then at least celebrate peacefully without causing meaningless pain...

It's so heart breaking to see this kind of behaviour... So many tragic stories told on the radio, ladies killed due to car accidents... This is unacceptable in every sense and should be dealt with harsh punishments...

o wow that is sad! poor girl..i cannot even start to imagine her parent's pain at their loss....i never understoon this kind of celebration...it just does not make sense!

Its part of human nature to be chaotic, to break rules, to care only about what pleasures him and make him happy BUT here comes the role of Police, government or any other governing body. Why these things continue? because no one wants to act to stop it. Corruption, lack of responsibility, no fear of god. Look at the Fire works, for the last 2 months, we are suffering over the night from these things, and the only things we read in the newspaper is the government is regulating the use of fireworks!

If you want to torture a man who has great passion for the history of Amman, all you have to do is take him to stroll down Jabal Amman and walk around the School that was built in 1947, the "Islamic Scientific College" It's wall once stood tall all around the buildings that constituted the architectural stamp of a different era. Jordan is still young, a country that is less than a hundred years, so when you talk about buildings that are 60 Years old. The first international football field , is no longer there, instead you will find the new buildings in this picture. Some of the most influential people in this country studied behind those thick walls. Including King Hussein, Ministers, Princes, Politicians, Opposition figures and many more.
